Zhan San Guo Background Story:

建安四年年十二月，正當曹操部署對冀州牧袁紹作戰之時，原依附曹操的劉備襲斬徐州刺史車胄，又擊敗曹操派去討伐的司馬長史劉岱軍，佔有徐州、下邳等地，於是決定棄離曹操，回應袁紹。車騎將軍董承等企圖刺殺曹操的計畫洩露，皆被屠殺三族，唯有參與密謀的劉備僥倖逃脫，之後劉備勢力越來越大。曹操決定親自征討劉備，曹操屬下部將們都擔心袁紹會從背後進行攻擊。曹操屬下謀士郭嘉認為，袁紹遲鈍多疑，不會立即來攻。而劉備倘若留下，久後必有後患，此時正是進攻良機。曹操為剪除後患，遂親率大軍東征劉備。袁紹帳下謀士則勸說袁紹乘機襲擊曹操後方，袁紹則以幼子重病未有不肯出兵……而江東小霸王孫策以玉璽抵押給袁術問其借兵，袁術收了玉璽之後則遲遲不肯發兵，孫策等人一怒之下暗殺了袁術，接管了袁術的領地。呂布等人則在旁虎視眈眈。至此，三國亂世新的一頁即將翻開..
