征途故事背景介绍：

自此皇族血脉断绝，皇城衰败，传国玉玺失踪，皇位悬空，天下大乱。诸侯群起称雄相互并吞，终成十国鼎立之势。十国势力牵扯，各自不敢妄动，皇权名存实亡。

天下贤良莫不各为其主，仕不读，民不耕，诸礼败废。

先皇威武圣尚皇帝曾占卜天象，得一火种，将此火种引于皇城及皇权龙脉所在。皇权虽已败落，天命之火却尚未熄灭，阴阳师有言：皇权再起亦未可知。
